Explore South Cebu – Mini Travel Guide

They say that the real adventure comes from Southern part of Cebu, from its whaleshark watching to canyoneering experience, we personally handpicked this destination for our anniversary. We only plotted 3 days for this venture with 12k budget for 2, below is the summary of our exploration.

How to get there?

From Manila, book and schedule your flight going to Cebu. Upon arriving at Mactan – Cebu International Airport, you can either choose riding My Bus transport or directly rent white taxis.

From Airport to South Bus Terminal

South Bus Terminal is located at N. Bacalso Avenue, Cebu City. From airport, you can either choose in below two commuting ways:

– MyBus & Jeepney: Ride My Bus as per schedule below, drop off at SM Cebu. Fare is 25 pesos. From SM Cebu, transfer to a jeepney with 02B code going to South Bus Terminal. Fare is 15 pesos.

There are lot of resorts, homestays and inns you can find across towns of South Cebu. The key of choosing your stay will be where your next activity will push through. The travel time between towns will take approximately 1 hour in between; this includes the waiting time for the bus to arrive. Here are some of our recommendations:
